Bath Towels, Hand Towels, and Washcloths ($12 - $40)

Towels are an essential part of your everyday routine in college. This amazon 8-piece towel set includes 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 4 washcloths in over 5 colors. Such a great deal!

If you don’t want to buy a full set, you can find some bath towels at Target starting at $4 and smaller bath towel and hand towel set for $12.

Desk Lamp for Studying ($8-$12)

Having a desk lamp is very useful for late night studying. We recommended going for something simple and small. Here is an affordable lamp option that you can get at your local Target! Here is an option on Amazon.

A Cozy Rug ($10-30)

Want to make your dorm room feel more like a home? Don't underestimate the importance of a cute/colorful area rug. Ikea has many rug options. Here is one for only $20. Target is also another great place to find cozy rugs. Here’s a large one for $20 from Amazon!

Storage is Key! ($5-20)

Always try to maximize your dorm space. Storage bins will help you store things in your closet, under your bed, or in your restroom. You can find $5 bins in various colors at Target (you probably want to get at least 3). Here is a 6-pack option at Amazon for $18.

Shower Caddy ($7)

At most colleges students share a communal restroom. As such, you will likely need to carry your hygiene products to the restroom every time you shower. Having a shower caddy makes it easy to keep everything in one place! Here is a good-quality and affordable caddy from Amazon.

Hangers! ($5-20)

It's easy to forget hangers for your clothes when thinking about dorm supplies. You can get a 10 pack of hangers at Ikea for $2! Or you could get a 30 pack of hangers on Amazon for $12! About 30 hangers should be enough for all your clothes.
